As we grow and can afford to hire more staffing, we intend to make the Pet Gazette as well known as The Nickel or Auto Trader!

This FREE  Bi-Monthly newspaper publication will be available to; teachers and will include humane education lesson plans, to children with activity pages with a kind message, to the public to search for a pet to adopt.

Pet Gazette will also feature stories about animal rescues, health, grooming, holiday advice, traveling with pets, training, and much more!

Advertisers will have the chance to spend their budgeted dollars on a cause that matters!

Through sponsorships, advertising, and donations, we look forward to beginning this worthwhile and fun project in 2008.

THE LAND…

A place to build the Sanctuary!

Just as the rainbow represents hope, the determination of Another Chance Animal Welfare League represents a future for animals in our community.

With your help, we can purchase the land to begin what will be a safe place for animals to live without fear for years to come.

Another Chance recently opened a “Building Fund” at the Shasta Regional Community Foundation, so that you can be assured your gift to the animals will be managed by professionals, and used for the specific purpose that it was donated… The No Kill Sanctuary we intend to build.

All donations that come to us are transferred to our Building Fund once per month.

Won’t you be part of a kinder future for animals?

Adoption Center Expansion!

Look at the faces on the left…this is why we do what we do!

Our Adoption Center and Thrift Store in Palo Cedro has grown and is very successful, but we need a bigger space to set up our adoptions while we are fundraising for the Sanctuary.

We envision a larger space where we can also incorporate a GROOMING business to help us raise money for our ultimate goal and to support the animals that we currently have in our program.  At any given time, Another Chance has 75 – 100 animals in the program that are depending on us to find them a home, give them medical care, feed them, vaccinate them, and most of all love them (that’s the easy part).

Our Adoptions will increase when we get into a larger and more visible space closer to the City of Redding.

SPONSORSHIP AMOUNTS BASED ON ONE YEAR COSTS:

Full Rent covered for one year - $36,000

Equipment and Renovations - $30,000

Staffing one full time employee - $24,000

Inventory, Pet Merchandise - $7,000

Utilities - $5,100

Won’t you help us save more lives?
The animals are counting on you!
