Adoptions
Each pet adoption requires the applicant to complete an application
and have a home visit done prior to animals being released. |
Cat Adoptions
Each Saturday
at the Adoption Center and Thrift Store
in Palo Cedro
from 10 am to 3 pm |
All animals that come into the program are temperament
tested before being accepted. Cats are tested for feline leukemia
and aids while dogs are tested for heartworm. It is our mission
to adopt out healthy and well balanced pets . . . . that otherwise
would never have another chance if in a shelter environment. |
Dog Adoptions
Starting in December 2006
at PETSMART
from 11 am to 3 pm |
The league gets its animals from owners who can no longer care
for them, abuse cases, neglect, abandonment and strays. During
the first year, the League adopted out over 200 animals and had
a remaining 100 in foster care. |
